Annotation: The article discusses the advantages of using computer modeling in assessing the safety of transport nodes. Microscopic models of nodes in the form of a roundabout at the same level and isolation at different levels have been developed, which allow to obtain comparative data on the predicted level of safety of these transport nodes before implementation of measures for their construction. The use of computer simulation allows to estimate the hypothetical design and the alternatives for layout of the nodes, where the statistical models estimating the probability of accidents cannot be used.
